Health fair
Each year the fellows plan and execute two health fairs in the Wilmington and Gardena communities. These events help bring necessary and beneficial health care resources to Los Angeles communities, including, but not limited to health education, blood pressure checks, dental care, anemia screenings, and vision tests. Additionally, planning health fairs help introduce high school students, undergraduates, medical students, and family medicine residents to the rigors of connecting health care to the needs of the community.
